Sony tv no picture or sound

When I turn my Sony Bravia on it flashes onto the channel for about 5 seconds then it goes blank, I still have access to the guide, but no channels work and when I try to change it stays on channel 3, I have access to the tv menus and the likes of Netflix, YouTube and all the apps, but none of the input she work and my Apple TV does not come up when I switch to that input, the LED at the bottom is white and always small (does not enlarge when on channel).

Had this problem too while browsing Satellite channels and Info Banner was active(visible). Suddenly Picture, Sound was lost, had access on everything else but everything was extremely slow as if no processor power.

Happened twice and could be solved only by Reboot the TV.

Finally performed a Factory reset and setup everything from the beggining. Did not activate Satellite tuner though.

Trying to figure if happens also to terrestrial DVB-T.

What is your TV model and O.S ?

Haven't found any of the apps to be running slow but the model is: KDL-55W809C

software version: PKG3.533.0108EUA

So you are on Android 5.1.

Did you try a reboot?

There could possibly one or more Apps be Updated and caused this temporary issue.

A reboot is required to be done or unplug from mains and replug after a few minutes.
