I wasnt going to spend this much, but i was convinced by various people that the extra money for the Sony was worth it. In terms of picture quility, I cant fault it, but I cant help feeling that its lacking processor power for general tv navigation. Is it normal to press a button (guide or home for example) and then wait 10-20 seconds for something to happen? Ive now had to go back to my bt youview box for general tv viewing, because I cant deal with such major lag on such minor functionality. Am I missing something, or are all the android bravias like this? Does anyone know any fixes to speed it up?

Incase it makes a difference, I have a fibre 50mbit broadband connection.

Any help appreciated.

Justin

Hi @jchadburn. The Guide appears instantly (about half a second if I’m honest) on my KD55XE9305. Home takes about 2 seconds first time then instantly (same definition as above) on subsequent presses.
