Hi, welcome to the Sony Community

Have a look at this page, which should guide you to the revelant settings for your BRAVIA. From the TV Menu page, make sure you also have Full Pixel selected in Set Display Area.

Once you've disabled overscan there, you'll need to do so for other devices connected to your TV.

Cheers

How to disable overscan permanently? Overscan keeps getting turned on and the worst thing about it is that it can't be disabled straightaway when using apps. If I want to disable overscan for YouTube, I have to turn on the TV channels and go to the settings through there.

Yeah, none of that really applies to Android TV as the settings are completely different. Besides, the display settings are grayed out then using apps.
