Bravia temporarily mutes ps4 when I receive a notification

Hello I brought a KD43XE8396 and I also have a ps4. My query is that when I am using the ps4 and get a notification (e.g. a trophy pop up), the tv briefly goes quiet, muting the audio cue for the notification and whatever else is going on in game. Doing this would cause the tv's info banner to pop up, but I have already turned it off. Does anyone know how to set it to behave normally? (i.e. the notification pops ip with the audio ding, without it going quiet).
