The TV has always had a few quirks. It would lock up and we would have to unplug it to get it operational. I updated it and it worked great for about 3 weeks now it turns itself on and half way through it shuts off then turns itself on and goes through the same process. I have left unplugged over night, disconnected the DVD, cable, removed the batteries from the remote and shut off the WIFI. It still does the same thing. TV is approximately 2 years old.

I bought it from Best Buy and they just laughed when I said I didn't buy the extended warranty. Is there any hope for this unit?
