Hi stuwillacy,

I don't think so since the hardware isn't capable of handling eARC.

Cheers

Does anyone know if it’s possible to get my ARC upgraded to eARC on my 4 year old Sony TV. I’ve read about firmware upgrades but I don’t know it it’s possible due to the age of my TV. I was looking at getting a Dolby Atmos system until I found out my TV needs eARC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
