65XE9305 PC - 60hz, not 100hz

Hi,

I have the 65XE9305 and have recently upgraded my PC system to the latest 3070 graphics card. The OC system detects the TV as the following

I would like to make sure I am getting the most from this TV when I am using my PC. At the moment I have an older HDMI cable connected to the HDMI 1 port. I do have a newer cable that I can try but was hoping for some advice on how to get the most out of my TV in this scenario. I play a lot through my TV including games which I will likely be running at 1440p. I immediately noticed that the TV is running at 60hz and not the 100hz listed as motion flow.

Can anyone offer any advice for improvement.

Hi,

Looking at the TV specs, it can only transmit up to 60hz from the HDMI output: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/televisions-projectors-lcd-tvs-android-/kd-65xe9305/specifications

So mainly this is within specs. Try the new cable to get a smoother picture anyway.
