cant mirror to tv

Hi guys I'm using the sony Zh8 8k tv and I can't seem to be able to mirror from my phone to the tv anymore. when I 1st got the tv it worked fine even on YouTube videos. I'm using the Samsung galaxy S10 .but I think o could have stop connecting after a software update on the tv . when I open the smart view option on my phone its not picking up the sony. funny enough I can pick up the neighbours lg tv but not mine. any advice is more than welcome and thanks again for everyone's help. cheers

I cant ChromeCast to my tv anymore either after the latest update

@Josoap @Deckstar what's the full model numbers for your TV and what software version is it on?

@Deckstar . cheers for your reply the tv is the sony KD75ZH8BU 8K TV

the only thing I can find in the settings is kernel version

4.9.125 #1 wed Feb 3

that seems to be the only thing that relates to the time of the last upgrade . Thanks again for your help

The latest software version for your TV is v6.5042, try updating to it and see if that solves it for you.

funny enough I just tried a software update at 6pm this evening and it stated I have the latest update. thanks again for your help

I had same issue recently. When I checked my network settings, it was saying my ethernet wasn't connected, despite all apps working. I reset complete TV through the TV menu, not on/off button, it's a pain as you need to setup whole TV again, however, now shows ethernet connected and mirroring is working again
