I got my phone Xperia L dipped in water,

I have taken it out immidiately

removed battery dried it simply, inserted battery and switched it on.....it worked fine...as like there was't any issue.

But 3-4 hrs later suddenly screen has started showing some vertical lines on it and so on.

As soon I make it lock and unlock again, that lines started to appear more and more.

Please suggest me the way out

So as I will believe and trust the brand.

thank you in advance

Unfortunately it sound like some moisture may have got into the phone and is now starting to affect the circuits. This is not covered within the warranty and I'm afraid it can't be repaired at any authorized repair center.

for time being what I must have to do...rather I should use it or let have switched off for some day or two?

Or have some hair dryer air to dry as I have read it somewhere?

The best thing you can do is to leave it dissembled (removing back cover and battery) to dry for a long period of time, but that's unfortunately no promise that it will work properly again.

Hi.

If it's not working, without warranty and you have nothing to loose, you could try to disassamble it and try to dry and clean up as much as possible inside the device. Also disconnect and reconnect as many (very small!) connectors as possible.

Youtube video how to disassamble it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q57SNwEvl0s

If this is advicable or not of course depends how skilled you are with electronics and what tools you have.

I have some experience and have repaired a number of mobile phones also by buying spare parts from internet shops.

Obviously, Sony will not recommend this...
