Why cant I not give my sibbles my old Sony Experia to use, it does not pick network at all, it keep compalining of no Sim Card found

Hi @Alias1228, welcome to our forum and sorry to hear about this.

Do you know which Xperia device you have? You can find this information in Settings > (System) > About phone.

Is the SIM card that is inserted in the device activated and does it work with other SIM cards? If the SIM card is not activated, you won't be able to get a network connection.

Let me know if that helps and if you can provide some more information about the model, that would be great.

It is Sony M aqua E2303

Their Simcards are active

Hi again and thank you for this information.

On the link below you can see how the mount the SIM card in the device, so make sure it's mounted corretly, or it won't be read by the device.

If the device still isn't recognizing the SIM card(s), try performing a software repair using Xperia Companion, but remember to backup the data, as this will delete all data stored on the internal storage of the device.
