Invalid Download URL

Hi,

I am having a problem with downloading apps from Play Store,

Whenever I try to update Google Text to Speech it says Invalid Download URL!

I tried live chatting with Support but before I could say I failed the solution the chat got closed.

Can anyone please help?

Can you download other apps?

If you can't, I suggest that you clear data for download manager. You could also try to clear data for Google Play Store and Google Play Services. Go to settings > apps > all.

Restart the phone and try again.

HI,

Try to clear data and cache Settings>Apps>All> Play store

and remove your google account

Then restart and sign in again.

I did that, no luck.

UPDATE: Uninstalled Norton Antivirus, now Text to Speech updated fine, but other apps with file size of 15+ are not installing and getting the same error message ''Invalid Download URL''

I figured out

Backup any other files

Do a factory reset

Go to Settings - Backup & Reset - Factory Data Reset

Ok I did this yesterday, let's see how it goes.

Unfortunately this didn't work. Can you suggest me something else?

I'm having the same error message. It won't let me update a couple apps... ie Facebook and page manager and just tried to install an app and won't let me
Were you able to fix your problem? If so how?

I think I got it.. I went to settings and re-synced my Google account.. Try that!

Just upgraded to 4.3 and the error is gone! Thank you Sony for fixing this problem!

My recieved email are coming through corrupt, just a series of numbers and letters. Can anyone help sort the problem ?
