XPERIA M Estimated Standby Battery Problem

Hey guys, I have buy Xperia M one month ago and it's works perfectly.

but this morning I have found problem from my phone about standby estimasted time, it show 17 hours estimated time though my battry level is 99% Is this make sense?

and for your information, it's happen after I charge this phone.. I have also restarting my phone and it did not change the battery level.. hope someone here will tell me and help me to troubleshoot this problem (I mean my problem hehe :smileyrolleyes:)

**add: I have also disconnect all connection to packet-data (WiFi, mobile network, GPS, bluetooth)

thanks for the link and reply, I've explained..

so if I reset my phone to the factory settings, will it re-calculate the estimated standby time or it'll be the same?

by the way, I got a tips that if I force stop the Extended Standby Mode process and restart my phone, the estimated standby time will re-calculate again? it is true? and is this make another problem to my phone? umm.. I mean, what the effect to my phone if I do it?

Stay away from taskillers or task managers, also the number of hours/days doesn't mean much if its not accurate, don't you agree?

though battery is 100% it still shows the estimation time 12 hours...

It is same in stamina mode as well...

What's wrong with this phone??:smileyangry:

That number is based on how you have been using your phone so far. If you use your phone alot the estimated standby will reflect this. See this thread for more information: http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/FAQ/Battery-time-and-enhancements-features/m-p/347874.

Yeah I have been using my phone a lot lately. Though it says 12 hrs the estimation time but it lasts longer. So I guess the battery is not defective. thnx for clearing this up. Do u know when is the next phone update rolli

its standby time supposed to be more than 24 hrs.. i really hope its a bug.... M users are facing many bugs and errors, they should roll out the update soon....

guys, i have bought c1904 one month back. it is a good fone. 1. at starting it was showing 3 days 13 hours standby time in power save mode at 100% charge. but from last 8 days it is showing only 1 day 8 hrs standby time at 100% charge. 2. when data connection is on, subway surfer hangs.

There is a Simple SOLUTION For this annoying bug Just Clear the Data Of the Application!
FOLLOW the Steps Below>>
1. Go to Settings

2. select "Apps"

3. swipe the screen twise left to go to "All"

3. Then Find ""Extended Standby Mode"" and Open it

4. Then ""Force Stop"" it and scroll down and press "Clear Data" Then "Ok"

5. Finally Reboot(Restart) Your Xperia M
then every thing is fixed.. and the Stamina Mode will work fine and the Estimated Standby time Also

hey can you help me out with display and personalization and Stamina mode
I upgraded my phone and having a problem in display...
i dont like white background... and now after the upgrade complete settings is white
and QUARTZ theme is MY Favouriate and it's now present in the Android 4.3
And my battery is also draing fast even in stamina mode... i only use wthatsapp and fb..
Or is there any way to revert this update to 15.2 version (i tried factory reset)
plz help

the white coloured background is the primary colour at the moment, cant change it and also the battery drain is quite common with lotta people after the update
