      <description>&lt;P&gt;I used OTG on my Neo V, and the motherboard did get damaged. Do not use OTG for watching movies! I would think the limit is 20 minutes, but to be safe, do things under 10 minutes and you'll be fine. This is the case if you're using the regular OTG cable. Why does this damage the motherboard? I think it's because the motherboard has to supply additional electricity to the USB device, but our devices were originaly gingerbread, which was not prepared for OTG capability (unlike ICS).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So if you want to be really safe, use an externally powered OTG cable &lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.hr/html/images/smilies/011.png" alt="Slightly_smiling_Face" title="Slightly_smiling_Face" /&gt; Luckily, my phone was was easily repaired, though. They had to change a component in the motherboard because it shorted due to the added voltage &lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.hr/html/images/smilies/011.png" alt="Slightly_smiling_Face" title="Slightly_smiling_Face" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
