Accessing the Micro SD Card

I have an Xperia X10 mini. Please could someone tell me how to access the SD card. I can access the album and the music player independently but would like to see what is on my sd card. I cannot seem to find a way to access the card.

Hello Linda

Well all you need is to go on to the Market and search for your name cos there is a file manager called Linda that lets you see whats on your sd card. I also have Astro file manager, you can have both - they have different advantages ie Linda lets you reinstall downloaded apps and Astro has its own Viewer for pictures etc which is useful at times.

dear suze!!!

i googled the lindA FILE manager and found a link, they have a neo code, i entered the neo code reader on my phone, faced my phone to the screen , it recognized it, but when i press ,,continue,, it doesnt go to the web page!!!!! i feel frustrated!!!! i want to use the phone with all its possibilities which i payed for!!!!! is there another way to download those stupid file managers? and why doesnt SE already incluse a file manager in the default menu?

i want to be happy with my phone!!! i think i will switch to nokia

DOWNLOAD IT FROM ANDROID MARKET DIRECTLY FROM YOUR PHONE. you just need google account and wifi-data connection. ENJOY.

ok. i have connected to wifi, the picture is too small, the phone doesnt get a clear image of it

It's Sunday afternoon and I am on family time so am only able to get on here periodically. So thank you to the guys that are picking up my slack

You should use the Android Market on your phone as previously suggested. If you don't have the Android market then use either www.getjar.com or www.slideme.org, both accessible from your phones browser. They have an app you download to the phone instead of the market and then search on there for any kind of file manager.

ok! i have updated my phone today, and after that i have a new app on my phone called ,,slideme,, apparently it tries to open the neo code that you gave to me. the apllication wants me to subscribe and pay for the order, but i am connected to m home wifi and do not want to pay for an application that should be free of charge!!!!! how can i open the code using my wifi connection instead of ,,slide me,,

You are obviously from an area that doesn't allow the Android market so Slideme is an alternative market place for apps. They don't have the same selection but if you just search on SlideMe for a file manager you should be able to find a free one.

i have dowloaded linda and another 2 file managers and neither can open pdf files and word documens, all 3 file managers are able to open just jpg/jpeg

i cant figure out what seems to be the problem
