Could not unlock networK X10

My Network Providor has given me the unloack code

When I use it the Phone does not unlock from the network

and I get the message "Could not unlock networK"

My Ex network vendor (Vodfone Australia) also states that

Sony Ericsson has confirmed that the unlock code (or SIM network unlock PIN) 1162745809951001 for IMEI 012379000651194 is correct.

How do I solve this issue my Phone is currently useless

that's not up to Sony to unlock it but your old carrier.

Funny My ex carrier said the same thing, Not there problem it's a handset issue that would be Sony ?

Can somone please let me know who locks the phones is it Sony or the Carrier My carrieris currently Blaming Sony for a) locking it in the first place and B) the unlocking issue

Try getting codes from any reliable vendors online if your SP is unable to provide you with the accurate codes... I got unlock code for my Sony X10 from Wickedunlock.com
