Sony ST23i Problems with the storage

I have a Sony Ericcson Miro ST23i.

The Problem is that the apps (games) are screened on the internal storage, but when i take the micro sd card off, all apps in the internal storage i can't play, because i took the card off.

The internal storage have only 2.01GB and i have only 273MB free at the moment, the micro Sd card have 14,83GB space and 12,31 space free.

Why i can't send the apps (games) to the micro sd card? i have only the posibility to send to the phone or to the internal storage.

The music and pics are all on the sd card, it's only a problem with the apps and i don't won't to delete other games, because some of them i pay to play.

All games apps are in the internal storage said my phone, but the programm ZDbox said that some games are on the sd card.

The SD Card is only for use with media data such as pictures music and video sorry.

That's very stupid...

I found a lot of people that have the same problem since the android version 4.... and the only way to made it, is to root the phone.

Why google changed that?

Are there any official way to change it?. I saw an easy way on the internet. It consists on modify the file system/etc/vold.fstab, but I don't know if it is safe.

I rooted my phone. The question is...is it possible to change the internal storage for the external SD safely?. Thanks.

how did you root your miro ?? i can not find safe and official way to do that !!! cuz then you may neet to use mini tool partition tool and install the link2sd program from google store. there are many online tutorial on the issue ...

just download the software unlock root.. and just you have to do is click on root your phone must be rooted

Dear Mahir Jose,

If you want to root your mobile than you can do it via Moboginie app. Download Moboginie app for windows then run it to install it on your pc. After installing it open and there you will find an option to root it.

I have a Sony miro st23i .my problem is low on space of phone memory is anytime displayed on the phone storage problem to low on space but iam still have internal memory 1.5gb.Iam go to play store apps to install that insufficient storage problem anytime displayed on page so I can't download any apps.please guide for me...
