Would you recommend updating to 4.3?

Hi everyone,

My friend is currently running SP on Android 4.1.2. Would you recommend updating to v4.3?

I don't know about Android version 4.1 on Xperia SP because my phone is 5 months old only.

Android version 4.3, build number 12.1.A.1.205 was the best for me. Now it's 207 and I'm having overheat and battery issues. The battery drops about 2%-3% every 5 minutes and almost untouchable when I play games for 15-20 minutes, because it gets extremely hot.

No problem. Good luck with your friend's phone.

Rickard, a Sony officer, says there no more updates for Xperia SP in the future. Version 207 is the last firmware.

I will recommend to stay on 4.1. There should be no better version than 4.1.
I will downgrade to 4.1 from 4.3 and sell this phone.

Why sony give up on sp...can't just keep update going? Sony xperia sp is also a product of sony..

not necessory to sale the phone because there may be some software issue which will be corrected soon. as many people have upgraded to 4.3 and facing trouble.

this phone are like pc proper software testing should be there before releasing updates.

I don't think that i have the patience to wait anymore specially after February when Sony destroyed this phone via 4.3 update. I was patient for many months. Now i think it's over, after the fail of Sony's promise to upgrade to kit Kat... I'm totally disappointed

my device getting slower after updating to 4.3:(

Updated the system software to android 4.3 version as they give the updation. But i am really disappointed, my device getting too slow and not responding for a while. And getting more heat when use heavy apps.. Anyone please help me to recover this
