I can't Turn On my Xperia Ray after failed update attempt

Hello,

I just want to know what could I do on my xperia ray. It was August 7, 2014 when I was update my OS to ICS but the problem is my internet connection. While the process is being started my internet connection is cut. after that I can't turn on my phone. I tried to put it back the usb to my phone and then to my laptop it has a Green light, that light in the lower part of my xperia ray but I can't turn it on..

please, I need your help..

The only thing you can do is perform a system repair and see if that fixes the issue

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)

Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Sir, thank you for your reply.. But Sir, I can't Turn off my xperia ray because It is already off after that issue.. and when I plug my phone to my laptop at this time it has a green light coming from the home button.. and pc companion can't recognize my phone

It will if you follow the above guide - Your phone must not be switched on to perform a repair - So follow my guide above and when prompted with your phone switched off either hold volume down and connect your USB cable or depending on model hold back button and connect your cable but PC Companion will tell you what to do

Sir, there is a window appear the title is Found New Hardware.. Windows need to install driver software for your S1boot Fastboot.

Then, there is a 3 selection..

#. 1. Locate and install driver software (recommended) windows will guide you through the process of installing driver software for your device.

#. 2. Ask me again later. Windows will ask again the next time you plug in your device or log on.

#. 3. DOnt show this message again for this device.. your device will not function until you install driver software...

But in Pc companion Sir, Stated that it can't download your device software. please check your internet connection or try again later.

but my internet connection if okay sir..

If you have PC Companion installed then the drivers should be on your Pc see C:\Program Files\Sony\Sony PC Companion\Drivers then let your Pc scan this folder for the correct driver - However as I said if you are running Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit system you need to run PCC in compatibility mode

Sir, I have a new question.. ^_^ .. I have no idea on how to increase my phone/internal storage but I have a 4gb memory card.. my problem on my phone same phone the xperia ray. only few application I can download on the playstore because my phone given me a message that my phone is low in space.

I hope that you have a idea on this.. hehe

Unfortunately you can't install apps directly to your SD card - You could try opening Settings then Apps and swipe to All then locate some of these apps and open then if available will be a feature that says move to SD card or External storage - Your SD card must be formatted to FAT32 so you may need to connect this to a Pc and format it but given it's only 4GB it should be already in FAT32

Unlock Bootloader is sometimes needed if you wish to root your phone giving full access to all the hidden files which are pretty much the operating system of your phone or by unlocking your bootloader you will be able to flash custom roms, a rom been firmware
