Had my phone nearly two years now... Suddenly the top part if the touchscreen isn't responding. I have a pattern lock on my phone and can't access it. I have photographs I don't want to lose if I plug it into laptop via a cable will I be able to back everything up? Also does this sound like a hardware or software problem? I'm a techno phone so please treat me gently!! Tia for help x

Sorry to hear that but you won't be able to access the pictures in the Internal Storage unless you unlock the phone

If its a hardware issue, I suggest that you DIY, replace the screen and you should be able to retrieve your photos

Its not so hard to replace the screen, but before you take it in, make sure that you tell them not to factory reset your phone at all
