Help. Front camera picture is curved

The background picture in front camera is curved. Is this normal?

Thats no surprise. All imx400 sensor from Sony has this lense issue. There won't be a fix. Sony already told there is no problem. Take your money back or accept it. Good luck

@aierI'd say yes, wide angle lens tend to curve lines that are near the edges of the field of view.

Sony told in the XZP Thread that there is nothing wrong with the camera lens and its on pair with other manufactures picture quality.

You dont have to be Einstein to understand that they dont see this as a bug and therefore has nothing to be fixed.

please dont give false hope for people in here because most of them are on the edge with sony pictures quality problem.

This statement was about back camera with motion eye, and the issue you're commenting on is about the front camera. So it doesn't apply to it.

Another thing: this statement was an early one, and there is a more recent statement by the official Sony Mobile twitter account that we're getting camera improvements soon with Oreo update.

XZ1 and XZ1C are already on Oreo and there is no improvement.
