XZ premium real review ! The truth about XZP !

I know Sony lovers will hate my review. But this is the truth about this phone: It's a joke.
I used many phones and almost every flagship phone, and thought this phone at least may compete with some good phones, but it's not.
I think sony lives in its own world to price this phone 800$.
I used it for less than an hour to decide to return it.
At the time of writing this review, it's the most expensive phone among its similar phones and the least to give you value for your money. I compare it to S8+, U11, G6 and even Axon 7 , and all better than this phone.
Design wise: It's ugly, huge and wastage of space. And the front facing speakers don't justify the size.
Speakers: Sony is raving about them, but they are the worst and weakest I've ever heard.
Camera: Poor interface and poor quality. You have dig into menus for basic things. Make it useless.
Screen: come on. No comparison to the S8+ or even the U11 or axon 7. All better.
Interface: Just look at the S8+ and you realize how much sony is poor.
They even don't include headphone.
For 800 dollars this is a joke phone. Do your self a favor and try something else before committing to this overpriced phone.

Please note: I'm not a Sony hater. In fact all my cameras and lenses are Sony. However when you use this phone, you realize that sony is either cheating its customers or they don't know what they are doing. I'll give you an example: They have great hopes for the camera to the point they put a dedicated button for it. However, you can not pause the video while recording, no Kelvin WB, no good menu and many basic stuffs are missing. The sony engineers did not bother to look at other manufacturers interface, like LG and Huawei so they inspire them. I"m not sure even if the sony employees use sony phones.
For the 1st time I test a phone and from the 1st few minutes I realize I was deceived by its manufacturer.
The axon 7 was sold for 329 and this trash for 800!
The LG G6 is been sold for 475 and this thing for 800!
The HTC U 11 for 599 and this thing for 800!
The S8 for 599 and this thing for 800!!!!!

Just the wrong words mate:

All phones of 2017 so far are very close to each other in about everything but design.

I can see how some people can like the S8 design and hate the XZP for me it's rather the other way around.

Price for Android phones are usually not very stable I don't think the XZP will do better here: the competition is just to firce on the market and everyone wants to sell some units before the IPhone 8 has its debut.

Im not fanboy of sony. Till the xzp i hated there phones. But this i like. Very fast. camera better then the s8. Battery great, i had headphones in my box.. Why i need to pay 100 dolars more for the s8 if i can get better or even equaly phone in less price.

from what I've read, Sony's bezels are used not only for front facing speakers, but also for bigger camera internals

they're clearer and probably louder than in my Xperia X. I've seen complaints about sound volume hear but honestly, the phone seems perfectly fine for me in that regard.

Sony has never had the best cameras in their phones but I can't say the interface is the cause. if you go to manual mode, you've got most important functions (EV, WB, shutter speed) available on the screen
Interface: Just look at the S8+ and you realize how much sony is poor.
that's a matter of preference. Sony UI is based on stock Android and I prefer it to heavily modified Samsung's GraceUX

NO seriously..

1 - Design is subjective and I like it. If you don't it's not what makes it trash and I find it's the most elegant phone

2- Speakers aren't the loudest, it's the waterproofing but I think they need a boost shot.

3- Camera has plenty of settings if you know how to use them. Then again it's not the best of the best but it's much better than the Axon7 or whatever mid-range device you pick

4- Screen has been reviewed by a lot of professionals online ( youtube is your friend ) and it's ranked among the best you can ever get. Even other manufactures fanboys agree..

5- Interface is the closest to Android stock. Just look at the speed difference between both devices and you'll see how the XZP is much faster than the S8 ( youtube XZP vs S8 from phone battles ) The device destroyed every flagship. I prefer speed over laggy UI. That's what all were asking for anyway

6- Mine came with headphones.

7- The S8 is not for 599 at least not in EUROPE. And NOT on AMAZON USA

Why do people give this guy attention? Why hasn't he been banned. He used a phone for less than an hour and made it his life goal to spend hours every day bad mouthing it on an internet forum dedicated to owners and perspective owners? Every single one of your points have been refuted and you come off as extremely salty. Show us on the doll where the XZp hurt you. You should realize your obsession when you spend more time in a single day badmouthing the phone than you did using it. I guess that's one advantage of being 12; you have a lot of time on your hands.

You are so wrong it's funny. You obviously are maybe 12 years old or less. Samsung is not worth mentioning. The only reason they sell so many phones is because of advertising...just like Apple and Bose. I bought this phone and it is by far the best one available and the best one I have ever owned, and that is more than I can even recall. So sad for you Samsung fangirl.

Or perhaps you don't like my review, in which case I will re-edit my review by saying,I'd gladly swap it for a different smartphone, as opposed to highlighting a particular brand of phone eh, or I love my xzp.,i wouldn't dream of having anything else! 🙂
