Is XZP shock/shatter proof?

I was wondering if the xzp has these features apart from it's IP rating, I'm afraid that one hard fall would cause the screen or the back to crack or dent, or even damage the internals

there's no mention of XZP being shock or shatterproof anywhere.

It's gorilla glass 5, hard but brittle.

Some people's have reported that it survived a fall or two and the design makes it quite study.

But it still has a glass back and front so it almost cerainly can break when falling down even from low height if your luck runs low. (does anyone produce a phone that is official shatter proof and has broken screens covered unlimited by it's warranty?)

Difficult to assess if an actual phone will be shock/shatter proof....far too many factors/scenarios ie height dropped/material dropped on/impact point....the list could go on.

I've heard of people dropping their phone from 3 feet & it bouncing around with no damage but on the other hand people having dropped their phone a relatively short distance resulting in severe damage.

The only time I had ever shatter a phone on me was with a HTC: When I leaned down to pick something from the kitchen floor it feel right out of my breast pocket and fully flat with the screen on the tiles. From less then a meter I would guess - it would propably have survived if it would have been higher because then it might had tumbled a bit and hit an edge first.
