XZ1 shows no sign of life until I plug a charger in

Even when i plug a charger in I get the battery charging icon (electric bolt over the battery) but not the actual charging one, that shows percentage, it will keep flashing this up, the RED LED will show but that's about it, I get no vibrations, i've tried simulated battery pulls, if I can't get this to work i may just throw it, i've had to take it apart multiple times, to replace the screen myself, thats as far as i've done it I may try take the screen off if its using all the power and let it charge that way, are there any fixes that can stop me from having to scrap the phone? I also downloaded the companion app, but it doesn't even recognise something is even plugged in. it had also been on charge for a good 14 hours so the battery can't be drained.

Did you try using a different USB cables and a different power outlet? sometimes it helps.

I even bought a new wire and used a different plug.

Sometimes when the battery is empty the device may take a while to show any sign of activity after connecting the charger, I believe you need to check the repair options for the device in this case.

the phone was on charge for a day straight and then I took the battery out then put it back in the phone and left it, no joy, I think I may just scrap the phone, its been way to much hassle since ive had it, the battery still can't be drained, I can see it trying to reset itself,then back to the dead screen even as its plugged it.

Did you physically open the back just to take the battery out, or was the device opened initially for another reason?
