Hey Edwin_Schouten, have you tried any of the steps? Also, it's worth mentioning to test the SIM card in another phone or vice versa.

Hi,

I have a Sony Xperia 1 (XQ-AT51) for over a year now, without any problems, but since 2 weeks I have No Service anymore, while the phone does recognize my provider T-Mobile NL. I do have internet through wifi, but I have no possibility to call, be called, or text sms. Update 12 is automatically downloaded.

Does anyone know what the problem is, and how to repare it. Or do I have to return the phone to the shop, while it is still within the 2 year warranty?

thx, Edwin

hello @Edwin_Schouten

try to re insert your simcard and restart your device.

make sure your device is set to the strongest network type your network provider provides,

settings>networkand Internet>sims>preferred network type. check different types to see which one picks up a signal

Try to reboot on safe mode > press and hold the power button > once the pop up screen appears > press and hold Shutdown > you should get a new pop up message with reboot on safe mode > do so > see if you still have the same issue.

I had a similar issue, but the issue wasn't the phone but the network, since it turned off 3G, and only a list of unlocked device was supported, even if the Xperia 1 was supported, but not the global unlocked version but a T-mobile variant.
