Xperia Z: Camera not available

Hey guys, can someone please help me how to fix this problem? I got new xperia z yesterday. I ordered it from my brother who work in Taiwan and Im from Philippines so warranty is a bit hard to do. I experienced the ERROR: CAMERA NOT AVAILABLE yesterday then after a while it works normally.. But today when i tried to take a photo the same problem occurs. Though I've already tried to clear data buton in my camera app and run a xperia diagnostic program but nothing works.Please give me some advice.

Its probably your SD card, change the camera settings so it will store your pictures on your Internal storage and check again

also

settings > apps > all > camera > clear everyhing > restart your phone

you can also repair your phone

i have update with update service, bat in old firmware i have same problem, in diagnostic i have ok function but in camera i don' t have touch function and camera button not respond and camera less quality. how is the problem?

The issue might be your SD card, try to save your pictures on your Internal memory and see if the same problem persist

no memory probleb becose only in camera i have problem e unsatisfy qualiti and nothing touch function for click.

After many proof I have click photo, info internal memory path: /storage/emulated/0/DCIM/100ANDRO/DSC...0001.JPG flash: inactive and photo no view.

My Problem was different when i try to take photo phone was restarting. it was about the gyro sensor. (phone leaked litle water inside i gave it to the service they said it's out of warranty and they say give us 700$ we will give you a new one)(i just washed the phone you you say it's water resistant)

I try a lot of thing to reset but nothing solve my problem.

one day i load google drive than i try to take photo than the phone is closed i restart than the camera was started to work...

right now i'm happy

I bought a Xperia Z ( C6602 ) smartphone in November 2013 in California ( USA ) , but I'm using it in Brazil , which worked fine until recently , I believe that the problems begun after updating to Android 4.3 , or was it just coincidence, but the fact is that when trying to open the native aplication CAMERA the phone was paralyzed and back to work after a few seconds , but the device never more worked CAMERA in any application , when I try to open it gets to the black screen for a few seconds and the error message appears " the camera is not available " , I tried to perform the Factory Reset , more than once , removing the SD card and SIM card , but the camera still not works , even with other applications , at run the Diagnostics application of the phone , it can work the front camera , but rotating the rear camera stays with black screen and sometimes even it brake the Diagnostics , but the camera app I can not even use the front camera because when I open the regular camera app , or another app, it crashes before giving the option to use the front camera , I also realized that the flash is not normal because when I try to turn on the flash with some application flashlight it lights up , but after about 3 seconds turns off the light , but the light to the application should still be on and the flashlight application crash . Please let me know if I can suport for the Xperia Z in Brazil , because I just will return to USA in May 2014 and will go to Florida and not to California.

The so called water resistant Phone got water ingress even though all flaps were closed.and phn was hardly for 1 min in water.after 1 week I kept it in sunlight... Screen came alive.but now camera is not working even after using software update through pc companion. Other problem,once screen is.locked due to inactivity or manually, it's touch screen becomes unresponsive.can Sony Xperia team help?didn't expect such a bad product and service from Sony.

Hey guys, i really need some help. Yesterday, my xperia z was accidentally fell into water, i knew it was water resistant, so i took it after about a minute. After sometime, my power button was not working and i saw on the camera glass it was hazy or dewy (i dunno how to call that), like theres water vapour inside the glass, when i try open the camera app it doesnt work its said there "camera not available". Plsss, someone help me

I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED😭, Im not anymore believe with water resistant phone.

I've a similar problem after updating to Kitkat 4.4 my phone xperia z camera is not available. Contact service center but of no use. Still facing the problem, can anyone out help there?

Settings-apps-all-camera,force stop and clear data.Restart.
