&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Download the PC Companion software from &lt;A href="http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and install it on your PC.&lt;BR /&gt;2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.&lt;BR /&gt;3. Phone Software Update.&lt;BR /&gt;4. Start.&lt;BR /&gt;5. Repair Phone&lt;BR /&gt;6. Continue&lt;BR /&gt;7. Accept data removal&lt;BR /&gt;8. Next&lt;BR /&gt;9. Wait for prepare&lt;BR /&gt;10. Select Phone&lt;BR /&gt;11. Follow the connection steps&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Yes. It happens to my Xperia Z2 too.&lt;BR /&gt;I have now turned off the STAMINA function, and it seems to solve the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;Before that, I had to restart the phone to get connected to WiFi again.&lt;BR /&gt;I wonder if Sony will fix this problem, but I don't think they will. I don't think they care about their customers.</description>

      <description>I find it quite annoying that I have to disable the STAMINA function, to be able to access my WiFi.&lt;BR /&gt;The idea with the STAMINA function is great though. Just too bad that it doesn't work.&lt;BR /&gt;Will there be a fix for this problem?</description>

      <description>@Sam thanks I will do last night it was about 35mins before I could get wifi to work this is the second time it's happend to me for no reason I switch the switch for wifi but it colours but won't actually turn on then all of sudden usually after a bit it catches up with itself and turns on</description>

      <description>@Sam hi Sam I have noticed that the only way I can get wifi to come back on is to keep switching airplane mode on and off and eventually it will come back on after 20mins or so really wierd any ideas?</description>

      <description>I'm having issues too and this is my second z2 in as many months for other issues...!!! mine just seem to be dropping in and out one minute it'll be fine the next I'm waiting for pages to load even when I'm sat in the same room as the wi-fi router.. And no its not the router as my wife's cheapy HTC Desire c has no trouble at all just powers on..and if I switch back to my services provider Internet the page will install load..</description>

      <description>The above process also completely wipes your phone. The 'backup' element of the PC Companion software takes a very long time but does NOT back very much up. Wifi settings seem to be the only useful thing backed up/restored.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;u can back up your phone on an external sd card or the internal partition which wouldnt wipe but would advice you to back up via sd card&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Both my wifes and my Z2 keep dropping wifi in the house and its really really starting to cause anger issues. All the other gadgets and devices in house dont drop the wifi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As said above, even in the same room as the router its dropping&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>@SimondoCole I didn't have this problem although I can understand you and your wife's frustration with it. I followed sonys advice and reset my Z2 through the computer companion and it has fixed my problem what I think I might of done was removed apps I didn't use and although I thought you could do that and there shouldn't be a problem but it looks like that might of been a cause hopefully this might help you</description>
