I'm new, I just want to know if this is normal, I normally use my Xperia to navigate on Internet and chat, when the battery starts to run out I always plug it and continue searching on Internet, and it usually continues charging, a time ago, it started to overheat more on the cpu (I downloaded cpu-z, and says the battery is fine) but isn't charging when I'm on Internet like it used to do it before, so what I should do? Maybe buy a new charger, a new cable, or is the battery? hope get an answer, thanks

Are you charging through a computer or a wall charger?

A wall charger, the computer one is the same issue, when I'm using it, it just stays at the same battery level, I can't do things and charge it doesn't work, but if I leave it it charges normal, and, the processor is getting to hot, I thing this **bleep** is getting old, or idk, I have one year with it

If you are using the phone while charging you might be draining the battery at the same rate or faster than its recharged, also you might have more apps and or services that might run whenever you charge your phone, such as auto backup

Yeah I was thinking that, I put it off I leaved to charge one hour and it's now 75% and and it's not overheat, I think is because I downloaded avabel, that is a mmorpg, and maybe the app continued working over all the day (I closed all apps) but maybe it continued draining ram or some of that thing and I didn't kill the process, so thanks, I just wanted to know because you can't find this kind of info easily, I'm gonna close this thread xD

That's normal, if your phone its getting too hot, the phone will shut down to avoid overheating, so your phone its not overheating, with that said, playing games will drain your battery faster, if you have the game running in the background it will drain your battery, and also heat up your phone, in some cases it will drain your battery faster than you can recharge it, that's normal. There's nothing wrong with your phone.

Boot on safe mode and check if your phone its able to charge faster.

Yeah I know that, I closed all the apps even in the multitask Window, but I think it was a bug in the app and I just needed to kill the process in the options menu, actually I put it off and is working normal and temperature is 30c

Yup, was like 2 days like that, and I didn't switched off the phone, when I did, it became normal again...
