Connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 2 to 3 hours, even if it doesn't seem to be charging

I did that, just saw this answer in another post and tryed that too, but the SUS is now discontinued.

It is now on the wall charger, pressed volume up and power for 15 secs, red led blinking. Its been like that for some time already.

Ok, will try.

But right now the PCC doesn't even recognize it, is it supposed to do that?

Im almost in tears here, it has 1 month of use its quite expensive in my country.

Try performing a system repair - This will factory reset your phone

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

The phone doesn't turn on, and PCC doesn't recognize it.

When I plug it I get the usb puggled sound but it recognizes it as a SOMC flash drive, I tryied re-installing the Z2 drivers on pc, but nothing changed.

Your issue most likely was a computer issue not PCC, you will have to charge your phone to at least 60% to be able to use PCC, if none of the above suggestions work, you will have to contact your local Xperia Care.

I just plugged it in and let it update 😕

Its on the wall charger as you said.. it should be way over 60% by now, I think.

I've used iphone for years, never had a problem updating.. right in my first one with the Xperia, this is really sad..

If your computer crashed or closed the program or if your internet connection went down it could've caused this issue.

It's probably because your system is 64bit and for whatever reason it can be an issue with the Flashmode driver - So try using a 32bit system and as I said previously perform a system repair
