Predictive text / spelling/ not working??

Something has gone wrong with my predicitve text/spelling/autocorrect etc!?

When I start typing, instead of the word appearing in the highlighted 'middle' bar, it now appears on the 'left' bar and therefore I have to physically select the word. Also it doesnt predict any words with apostrophe's like 'I'm', its just 'Im' and it doesnt correct any spelling etc. All the settings for these functions are on.

So the example above, I typed the the word 'hello' and it has highlighted 'Foggy'!?!?!?!

Again, I typed the word 'Why' and it highlighted 'Qfr'!?!?! So I have to physically select the word why?

I havent changed any settings etc, its just started doing it??

Any suggestions?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Are you using my writing style? I suggest that you try to go to Settings > Language & input > Tools icon next to "Xperia Keyboard" > Use my writing style > Clear language data. Otherwise, I suggest that you clear data for Xperia Keyboard via Settings > Apps > The tab "All" > Xperia keyboard > Clear data.

Went into the experia keyboard app and cleared the data, now it works as before!

None of those work for me. Got the new xperia update. It used to always give me those options before i even wrote anything. Now It doesnt correct amd doesnt suggest.
