Hello,
I bought an Xperia Z3 Compact on December 10th 2014. I live in Italy and I use Vodafone as my daily carrier.
I got a replacement nano SIM card with LtE capabilities just to get the phone in the new, fast network. The problem that I am experiencing is that since about January 13th 2015 I have got some problems with the data connection in 3G mode.
On that day I was using my phone normally, then I tried to send a Text with WhatsApp and the phone stuck with the little clock icon in the lower corner of the message's bubble. I thought that it was a temporary glitch of the network but I'm not so sure about that.
I live in a little town where the coverage is really good, either in LTE and 3G mode. I tend to use 3G because it uses less battery and it does not affect my 4G data plan.
Th issue is that if I do a speedtest when I'm experiencing that network glitch I get a ping that is higher than 2000ms, but with really good download speeds.
The problem is that I believe that it isn't a network issue because my mother has an HtC One S phone and runs vodafone without problems even when I'm having the glitch.
I tried to reset the phone to factory settings but it didn't help.
In LTE/4G I don't experience that issue. In fact I think that if it is a phone's problem it must be software related because the antenna works fine.
If it does not resolve I will try to contact Vodsfone ad then I will send my phone to the assistance service if Vodafone tell me that the issue is not on their network.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Simone

That's quite odd, double check the APN settings, and contact EE regarding this.

Yes thanks for support, I contacted the carrier and they said that they have troubles because of the television's digital signal. Yesterday I went to France and on data roaming I didn't have any issue..
The carrier said that the TV signal overlays the Cellular network signal and that they will resolve that issue in the upcoming week.
I also reset apn settings and it seems that now I can tether the connection (I wasn't able to do that before).
Thanks again for the support!
