Xperia Z3 Personal Hotspot Trouble

Hi All,

I am currently on three mobile and tried using the personal hotspot and usb tethering but the connection always seems to drop.

Whats happens is:

- internet on my phone would be working fine

- I'd active the usb tethering/hotspot and connect with the pc/laptop

- pc/laptop would find the connection and display that its connected to the internet

- at this point I would lose internet completly on my phone and pc. Phone will still be displaying signal and H+ data send and receive as normal but internet would not be working.

- I would have to turn off the tethering and restart the mobile data for the internet to be back online.

I swapped the sim with my old Lumia phone and the tethering was working fine which means that it's something to do with my phone.

I presume you have one of the new 3 plans or the old one plan

It's an old ones, almost 2 years old but I purchased the personal hotspot add on wednesday.

Contact your carrier/network regarding this issue.

Check with 3 that it has been enabled, especially.with yesterday being a New Years day.3 can be slow at times. Took them 2 days to enable my sim only nano.As my other sim was micro

It looks like its working now thanks. I had spoken to 3 but it was a very painful process and they repeatedly took me through the steps of switching functions on and off and restarting the phone. I eventually gave up and after some time it looks like its been activated.

Your welcome Jonsby .3 have also added New Zealand and Spain plus all its Islands to its Feel at home countries from April.
