Main microphone broken

Hi,

The main microphone of my Z3C is broken. People can't hear me. If I use an earphone ou bluetooth connetion everything is fine.

I have tryed everithing Sony Assitance told me, but nothing worked. It should be broken.

My question is: can the main microphone be replaced or it is attached to the mother board as one piece?

How about, settings > call settings > uncheck microphone noise suppression

Lets narrow down the issue before you send it in

Repair the phone with PCC

I did that already, and also changed the sim card... tried everything as far as I know.

I just need to know If the microphone is replaceable, so I can do it myself. I don't believe Sony will repair it with the warranty. I know how it works. They will try to say that there are some scratches and bumps and bla bla bla, so they cannot issue a warranty repair... I have been there before, with other brands...

Problem fixed!!!

I had it sent to Sony Support Services in Portugal and they issued a warranty repair, changed the mother board and I have my Z3C back 🙂

I am really happy ty have changed from iPhone to Xperia! A completely different approach to customer care...
