Xperia Z3 Compact Keyboard problem

Hi,

I got my Xperia Z3 Compact a few days ago and I only installed a few apllication on it. When someone calls me, the keyboard becomes compeletly disabled. So, I cannot type anythin in Viber, Google play, Gmail or Google Chrome. Keyboard doesn't pop up and appear on the screen at all. Any idea?

Can you check if the same occurs in safe mode?

I tried safemode and it was ok. But in normal mode, even the back button does not working after a short time of talking, just the home button and windows browsing button are working + touch screen itself. But keyboard and back button doesn't work.

It must be an app acting up,task killer or battery saver.

Well, I didn't install any app at the beginning. I just updated the system, had Skype and Viber, and that was all. Do you have any suggestion?

Yes,the software repair will also reset the device to factory settings.

I did the following steps in the same order:

1. I uninstalled Skype and Viber. Restart the phone, but it didn't help.

2. I reset my phone to factory setting with erase all data checked, installed Viber again. It worked. (Of course, I lost all photos and videos and musics I got with the phone)

It is strange. My phone was totally new, out of the box, but it had that software problem. I saw that there were some keyboard settings (to customize my phone) that never poped out the previous time.

Now my question is, will I get any benefit if I perform Software Repair (using PC Companion)?

No,if you have worked it out there is no need for another software repair.
