Inaccurate touch screen / scrolling issue

I hope some of you can help me with the following problem:

I've got the Z3 Compact for about 2 months now. Everything is ok, except the fact that my screen is very inaccurate at random moments. When apping, if i want to correct a mistake with the "x"button, it mostly hits the letters "r, t y,i" etc, making it impossible to type normal messages. And then, some moments later, everything works normal again! Also, when scrolling, ik keeps on going up- or downwards when i gently touch te screen, it's getting on my nerves now.

This happens several times a day, and i am clueless what to do with it. It is NOT in gloves mode, so that's not the issue here.

Any captain with the solution, or people who recognise these problems?

Does this happen while on safe Mode?

If you are using chrome, it's a known issue, clear the app data or uninstall the latest update

How to clear data on apps. From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on Chrome.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Uninstall updates
7. Restart the phone

Thank you for responding so soon. I will try both the options you gave me and will report them here.

And yes, i have got chrome installed on my phone, barely uses it though (i use Firefox).

As said, will report soon!

UPDATE:

Well, i quess it worked out for me: I am able to delete digits again in whatssap :). I deleted my chrome app/updates in the store, and then checked if the app cache was empty. It was, and since i barely use Chrome, i will keep it that way.

I think that was the problem, thank you for your help!

No problem anytime
