PC companion can't connect to my phone

Hey guys, I have a problem and I need your help. I have a Z2 and the latest software update arrived yesterday and I want to update my phone but pc companion can't recognise my phone and I have tried all of the following instructions that it gave me but still nothing! Any help will be awesome.

How do you know you have an update - Do you have Java installed are the drivers installed

Looks likes your phone is locked. Please unlock the phone and try connecting. That should do the trick.

hi,

I can#t connect to PC Companion either. I think it's because I get an error message during installation of of the MTP drivers, saying that it is not a regular MS DOS application.

I use Windows 7. How can I install the phone drivers properly to connect and update my phone?
