Hello everyone,
I wonder if someone had the same problem.
I used "Weather & Clock Widget Android" but it has desynched my Google account with contacts. I had to factory reset the phone to recover full sync with that account.
It only affected the contacts but I had to check some 200 manually.
Can anyone tell me of a similar widget that does not interfere with contacts?

I use transparent clock and weather. Haven't had any issues..

Hi stockyvillage and mr_xzibit. I tried the apps you suggest and am very grateful for that.
I still prefer the presentation of "Weather & Clock Widget Android" though.
I installed and uninstalled both, did another reset of my phone and then reinstalled "W&C widget", with no problems now.
I am confused why this app interfered with my the sync of my contacts - I know because I checked one by one during the reinstallation process and now it doesn't. 😕
But thanks anyway.
