Z2 turns on volume while in quiet mode?

Hi,

My Z2 phone have started to turn on volume for notification and ringing volume by itself. How to fix this bug?

I have gone through the settings and set all sounds to off, but after an hour or so, it is bacn to normal volume. Have had this problem for a week now.

Have restarted the phone several times.

Cleared all open apps.

Nothing helps.

Do you have the device turned on to priority mode?

Could you please also check the device in safe mode and see if the issue persists?

Where is the setting for priority mode?

I have set the phone is safe mode now to check.

@PetterPan,

In the link that @uliwooly provided look at #4, Do Not Disturb. While DND is enabled you can have certain exceptions, for example calls and messages will still make noise if enabled.

While it's in safe mode, do what you were doing before to check if the ringtones and notifications etc are still making noise.

Looks like I had set it on hour silent mode. I have had the phone for 1 1/2 year, never done it before. I stand corrected 🙂
