Reject incoming calls with SMS stop after MM update, now I can not take the bottom panel and send SMS, please Sony help .

Hi uliwooly

Before MM update when I get incoming call I can pull up the bottom notification and I tap the SMS I want as ( I am in a meeting), the SMS will be sent and the call will be rejected in the same time.

But after MM update, when I get a call there is no any option or notification.

I have just tried it on mine...standard message & one i composed is still there allowing you to select which but if you use the Sony Smart Cover where you don't have to open the cover to answer calls, the option is not there unless you open the cover.......which sort of defeats the purpose of having the cover

Ian not using Smart Cover, but when I receive a call there is no any option to send a SMS.

HI All

Today I turned my Z5 dual off and I removed the SIM card from mobile.

I turned on without SIM, and I turned off again.

I inserted the SIM card and I turned on.

Now when I received call the response option is appear.

It is OK.
