Hello,

I have used my Sony Xperia Z in India for 4 months. It worked fine for indian mobile services providers.

Recently, I have moved to USA, and found - my phone does not detect AT & T sim card here.

The same sim card works fine on other phone. But not with my Sony Xperia Z

Please guide me what could be the issue.

Thanks alot

Cinni

Just had a talk with Sony Xperia support team and came to know - xperia z bought from indian market will not work in us market as frequency differes and US mobile service providers do not support indian frequency.

My Xperia Z - model c6602 is of no use in US. Its for Indian market only

That doesn't seem right, AT&T use 850 and 1900 for 3G, in some areas both in some others only one or the other, and the C6602 support them, umm quite odd. I have the C6603 but I've seen other users with the C6602 here in the US, use the search bar and find those threads.
