audio output mute microphone

Hi all,

I experience some problems on my phone (Z5). During a call, if I switch to audio output, the microphone is muted. This problem was there before the MM update (since I buy this phone - 02/16/2016)

Second problem came after the MM update, I'm unable to change the SMS sound notification. This is allways reseted to the default phone notification.

Has anyone the same kind of problem? Need I send my phone back?

Do you experience the same on while safe mode?

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu
3. press and hold "power off"
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

thanks for your reply.

Booting in safe mode solve the SMS sound notification problem (thank you for the tipp).

The microphone still muted when I switch to audio output.

It is then a hardware issue?
