Z5 Premium - Low volume in preview & incoming calls, but not in sound picker

I've tried everything about this issue, but I can't find a solution.
It also happens in safe mode.
It's been like this since I got it many months ago.

When I go to "Sound & notification" and adjust the ringtone volume to full, the top speaker barely sounds.
This is the same volume as when I'm getting calls.

But when I go to "Phone ringtone" and "Sound picker" and play any ringtone, the top speaker plays much higher.
This is the volume I want when it calls.

Even in "Diagnostics" the speaker plays like it should.

So clearly the speaker works fine, but it's like it's playing the ringtone from a different media or something.

I have the latest update on the phone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll see if I can find the thread, but it seems that it was designed like that, but you can contact Sony directly regarding this >>> Local support

If it's supposed to be like that, it would be pretty awkward.
In my job I need to be able to hear the phone ring, and I barely do when it's only 1 speaker working correctly.

I just sent the issue to support, and hope they have a solution.

If anyone else wonder about the same problem, here is the answer I got from Sony.

*"The ringtone will not be played with a full volume from the earspeaker, compared to when listening to music other playing back other media. This is to avoid the volume being too loud when holding the device to your ear.*"

And if anyone knows about a work around, I'll be happy to know about it.

is it refered to "smart Call" when is activated ?

Because if don't, when u hold the device to your ear, ringtone is yet gone because u've yet previously answered to the call

So could not be different for Smart Call ?

if you are on a call, sometimes you get notifications from different apps sometimes sound sometimes it just vibrate

Mmm, I think they didn't think too much about this possibility to pump up the volume when "Smart Call" is not activated, and to lower it when is activated.

A good advice I think, considering the fact that they want to preserve our ear when we hold our device to our ear !

That's true but then again, you know sometimes third party apps cause other apps and/or settings to misbehave, what if a third party app does this and you get the full volume right when you have the phone next to your ear.

I have sony experia z5 peremium doul.
It will ne apriciated if u add more options in this model phone:
1. About level sound, the ring volume and notification volums level is same. But please add two volume one for ring and one for notification same as samsungs phones.
2. In sun shine my phonr get hot when i record camera.
3. The led flush is no have good light.

If anyone is facing the issues with in call volume using headphone but not with speaker then try following.
Go to Settings , call settings, general and then check TTY mode. If it is set to Full then set it to OFF. This solution worked for me.
