    <description>&lt;P&gt;Maybe you could "play" with the "install software" switch under USB connectivity option.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you sure that USB port's pins are not broken or dirty? If you have an OTG cable you could try to read a thumb drive just to check if the port is fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If it is dirty you could try to clean the pins of the USB port with a contact cleaner, but be careful.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I have a problem with my new z5: it charges via USB cable etc but when I try to connect it to pc, it doesn't connect well. it comes on and off.. is this a hardware issue and do I need to get my phone replaced?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;since it was a new pc and other USB connections worked perfectly I never though problem.. could be with the pc.&lt;BR /&gt;I tryed it on another and it worked fine.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Glad to hear that! You can always check the device manager on your PC to see if the phone is detected, perhaps you need to update/reinstall the drivers. I also suggest that you install&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/PC+Companion/pd-p/pc_companion" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="6-1"&gt;PC Companion&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;on your computer and then connect the phone to see if it can be detected correctly.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
