Xperia Z2 D6503 "Record Screen problem"

After updating to android marshmallow 6.0.1 on my Xperia Z2 D6503, whenever I try to record the screen, the record screen functionality stop working (it force closes). I've tried to clear the data for the app and the problem hasn't been resolved. Help and thanks in advance.

I've never tried it in safe mode. Let me do just that then I'll give you the feedback.

I have same problem after updating to 6.0.1 ( d6502)
Yesterday i try record screen in youtube and i recived error screen recording ended 5 or 6 times then change qulity from full hd to hd and record from screen without error
Try and feedback

I was able to replicate 2/3 times when playing around the phone while recording the screen. Will escalate this.

@Viridis I thought about that but nope, once just by sliding left/right in the apps menu and once when just scrolling in settings.

I think I've only tried on FHD and HD. Will check a bit later for the last resolution.

Hi @robsonkxd,

Would it be possible for you to capture this in a bug report? If so I can forward this internally for further investigation.

To do this:

Go to Settings > About phone > Build number, tap 7 times on the build number.
Go back and select Developer options then turn on "USB debugging".
Select Logger buffer size and change it to "4 M"
Restart your phone, then make this happen again.
Go back to Settings > Developer options, select "Take bug report".

When the report is ready you will receive a notification. Tap the notification to share it. I suggest you upload it to Google Drive and then send choose to share a public link to the upload and include the link in the PM.

Wow, I have not upgraded to Marshmallow yet, because in Spain it has not arrived, but other people told me they had the same problem with the Z2 in Marshmallow, so it is not only only problem of you, it is not only your phone, thre are more Z2 affected. I think it must be soved because I think it is one of the most useful and best features of the phone.

Hi! I have a Z2 updated and noticed the same error when recording the screen .. I assumed it was a matter of settings , clear all data, and on the same screen , select all the permissions on .. this solved the issue! I recorded several minutes with no problems
