New Z3 Dual with 6 monts warranty

Hello,

Distributor sold me new(?) Xperia Z3 dual with only 6 months manufacturer warranty. Because of shorter warranty I bought it cheaper. Now I am wondering if maybe shorter warranty somehow connect with service history or refurbished status. Is it technically correct to sold phone as new with less then 24months warranty? If someone could explain me Sony warranty practices in cases like this I will be gratefull.

Did you purchased the phone directly from Sony? if you did, contact them directly, keep in mind that warranty varies per country
