Sony Xperia Z1 Compact loudspeaker problem

Today I think I've damaged my loudspeaker in some way. It seems that the speaker has somehow rotated in the phone as the music now sounds loudest coming out the back of phone, and so is now a lot quieter than before, as the sound isn't coming out the grating at the bottom. I used to be able simply place a finger over the speaker at the bottom and the music would go from loud to very quiet, where as now it doesn't make any difference. Although, I don't remember knocking or dropping my phone recently.

You can contact your Local support to get it inspected, you can also test it

settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test speaker

I agree with uliwooly, it do sound like your phone needs to be examined at an authorised service center. Your Local support team can provide you with further information on how to proceed with this if need be.
