In new version of Android 6 z3 the phone speed very low and signal wifi very weak is very bad please fix the bug

You might experience that the Wi-Fi coverage in the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact appears to be weaker than before the upgrade to Android 6.0. However, the reception is not weaker. It's only a perceived Wi-Fi coverage downgrade, due to a bug in how the Wi-Fi bars are calculated. This is a known issue which will be corrected in an upcoming software update.

Could you elaborate on how the phone is slow?

Hello,

My xperia Z3 WIFI stregth has found to be reduced after marshmallow update, wifi signel disappearing frequently from my Z3 ( while my laptop and tab dosnt have any problem with wifi signal ).

anybody has the same iisue ? how to fix it?

Hi.I updated my phone to marshmallow and quickly after it I Repair software by Xperia Companion.
Now Wifi turn off without any reason.and in the same distance like android 5, it has poor connection.

Same problem with me, it should be better when upgrading software, it seems not in this case, wifi signal and mobile signal also become sooo weak and almost not functional, sony you should offer an update as soon as possible to fix this problems, and where the stamina mode was vanished?? I regret for upgrading to marshmallow, my phone was perfect on lollipop... Do AN UPDATE AND FIX WIFI AND SIGNAL PROBLEM

this is a known bug, so there is nothing we can do at the moment but to wait for an update fix.

Im quite positive it's not just the signal bar (D6653). In android M I can't connect to the same WiFi signals that I could in Android L in university, where as my laptop is unaffected. Similarly at home, I keep disconnecting at points where Android L showed one signal without disconnecting. Moreover, the signals fluctuate from full to 1 bar when i'm very nearby the wireless router.

P.S Same wifi icon in safe mode.

On Lollipop the wifi was fast but after the Marshmallow upgrade its so slow...anonyone else?

try to forget and then reconnect with the router

do power cycle

a first few days, it would be slower since most app still need to update and therefore use the network

Hi, i want to know if its just like Rickard wrote "It's only a perceived Wi-Fi coverage downgrade, due to a bug in how the Wi-Fi bars are calculated" whay if I walk a few steps from the router the connection become slower, is the Wi-Fi connection performance affected by the signal bars shown on top, if its a bug just miscalculate the Wi-Fi bars?

It is definitely weaker. In my sleeping room the signal was perfect, now it is very unstable, resulting in different loading times. Also, When I charge it at night in the room it seems to disconnect sometimes, probably to prevent a bad connection, although it is configured to never cut the connection in stand by. Additionally every morning it seems to result in another bug. The automatic connection to the wifi signal won't work until I let the phone forget it and reenter the password.
