As for the phone heating up, that's normal, the longer you use it the hotter it'll get also, if you record on 4K it will heat up quite fast.

I basically turn the phone on and it's very hot. So then I turn it off. Ive just bought it. So I am a bit concerned. Thanks.
I think the "tray" for the imei is broken. What should it look like please?

The phone will be hot for w while as it is new and it is collecting all media information, saving down all the settings, syncing out all your accounts etc. especially if you have sd card inserted. This is normal for all new phones so do not worry that much, it will be better after some time
