Xperia z5 cover

Hi I just bought the genuine Sony cover for the z5 premium. However I can't seem to figure out how to work the windows? Do I need to download a gadget to make this work? And what other features does the cover do?

HI!
I have the answer you're looking for, go to Settings > sound & notification scroll down to the end and you will see Advanced (colored in blue) and go to notification access, you'll see style cover and then enable it.

Awesome thanks.
However this still hasn't really done anything. I still can't use the screen. Do I have to do anything else? It only is working for the lock and unlock screen

@Lil_l88 Have you initially on fitting the cover touched the NFC from the back of your phone to the NFC on the inside of the front cover

@Lil_l88 when you first did the NFC touch it should have then given you the option to download the Style Cover theme.....i used STYLE COVER - BLACK to begin with....when you unlock your phone with the cover closed does the view panel light up......have a look in the ACCESSORIES section of the forum as i have a post there about some issues with the cover i had/have

Ok thanks I'll have a look. Can I re synch the cover? That might be the problem as I just toughed them together and nothing came up

The lock and unlock feature works but if I press the unlock button with the cover closed nothing happens. I don't know how to access the windows once the cover is closed

Ok got it!!!!! Thanks heaps! I had to turn nfc off restart my phone then start all over again.

@Lil_l88 Its a pity the Style Screen only lights up with an incoming call & not any other notifications (emails/WhatsApp/texts etc)....as you could easily miss hearing the notification tones if you were in a noisy enviroment or have it on silent, also there is no 'hole' to see the LED notification light as this would help a lot......have thought about drilling one but would def not want to ruin the case

Haha yeah that might be a bad idea. Hopefully the next model will just allow this with any cover like every other phone!
