nolramlb, as far as I know the light manager isn't going to be any help as the led management on Xperia devices cannot be controlled properly unless the device is rooted and in my opinion rooting the device to just changing the blink rate is not a good reason to do so.

Sadly the blinking rate cannot be customized as it's programmed to work with two defined phases: fixed and blinking (2 seconds delay). The file that control the leds is a system file that cannot be modified. Apps can use the android API to set the color but not the rate at which it may blink nor if it's a blink or a fixed status.

I just would like to ask is there an option to adjust the notification led blink time for every 2 seconds because when ever I received a msg the led blinks very long intervals you, you realy need to check your phone if your have a msg and also can i set the notification when I received msg the screen will light up? i dont have any problems if i use other sms application rather than the built in app of the phone.

LIGHT MANANGER APP, I guess this will be the only remedy that i could use in order to change the blingking time of the notification led. I hope it will not consume a huge amount of battery,
