Alarm application flashes black for a second when opened

Z3 compact, Since updating to marshmallow 6.0.1,everytime I open clock/alarm app the screen flashes black for a second or 2 before showing it open

Hi @Jabba1,

Could you try clearing data for the Clock app and see if this still happens after doing so?

This can be done in Settings > Apps > [menu] > Show system > Clock > Storage > Clear data.

Note that this will remove all settings for the Clock app so you may have to set up your alarms again after clearing data.

Hi there, tried your suggestion that didn't help,then I realised the smarter app permission for the clock was off & that fixed the issue.
